Hills Top 40 Pops & Best Selling LP's for March 22, 1971

One of the top movies was George Lucas' first movie "THX 1138".
I remember seeing that at the movie theater when it first came out and I hate to admit it but thought it was kind of boring.
Mr. Lucas came a long way.

The guests on the talk shows that day -
Merv Griffin had Clint Eastwood, Johnny Carson had Chuck Conners and Joe Frazier, Dick Cavett had Florence Henderson
(Dick was a nice guy.)

AS FOR THE MUSIC -

Rock and Roll is alive and well as The Partridge Family, Lynn Anderson and The Osmonds take the Top 3 spots in the singles category.

The Top 2 LP's also kick ass as the Partridge Family and The Carpenters come out on top.
